    • The 27th annual Commerce and Industry Appreciation Dinner was held Tuesday night, honoring Dawn Food Products, Inc. The event is sponsored by the Mexico Area Chamber of Commerce and the city of Mexico. Dawn Foods in Mexico employs 290 people from Mexico and surrounding areas and temporary staff during seasonal periods.
