    • Tuesday night at the Mexico High School sports complex the state-ranked Bulldogs played host to the Helias Crusaders. Outscoring the Crusaders in every quarter, Mexico made it six varsity victories in a row – a season high – by getting the better of Helias on both offense and defense in a 50-39 final. The win gave the Bulldogs, ranked No. 10 this week in Class 4, a record of 17-3 and dropped the Crusaders, winners in 10 of their previous 11 outings, to 14-6.
