- Mexico High School Senior Academic Awards Banquet
- Posted March 6, 2012 midnight
- Several Mexico High School students were honored Monday at the Senior Academic Banquet held in the band room at Mexico High School. It included a punch reception, candlelight dinner, guest speaker and the presentation of awards to each senior present for his/her academic excellence. Servers for the evening were freshmen through junior student council members. The guest speaker for the evening was Jeff Frazier, a 1981 graduate of MHS, a Mexico businessman and father of Grady Frazier, one of the seniors honored Monday. As part of his speech, Frazier told the students there is always something to learn and “The Day You Think You Know Everything Is The Day You Become Stupid.” He stressed to them that no matter what they do or where they are, they will always learn from everybody around them.
