    • Eugene Field Elementary School second-graders presented a Christmas program Thursday titled “The Little Bell That Could Not Ring,” under the direction of Jenni Shoemaker. The setting of the production was a small town church in which community members and the bell choir get ready for a performance. Songs sung by the chorus included: “Ring the Merry Bells,” “Drown Her Out,” “Alleluia,” “Christmas Is Love” and “It’s Christmas.”
