    • The Mexico Ledger office was filled with long-time friends, current and former co-workers, local residents and Missouri Press officials Friday to honor Joe May. The Ledger and owner GateHouse Media hosted a retirement reception from 2 to 5 p.m. May retired Friday after a 42-year career in the newspaper industry, 35 of those at The Ledger where he served as publisher the past 22 years.
