    • On Tuesday night several events were held for students and their parents at Hawthorne Elementary School. A science fair was held in the gym, Miss Audrain Morgan Lockowitz read to students in the library, and a guest author, Carolyn Mueller from the St. Louis Zoo, visited with the children about her book and also had a snake the students could touch.
