Sometimes people ask me to tell them about my most interesting interviews. They get really quiet, expecting to hear me rattle off a list of famous names that I’ve scratched down in my skinny reporter’s notebook.

I’m a “Baby Boomer” born in the 1950’s. As a kid, I grew up in a typical middle class “Nuclear Family”. Like most kids of that time, I have numerous memories of the seemingly endless “Cold War” between the United States and former Soviet Union.
