  • Marjorie Schuessler, 84, of Mexico, MO, and formerly of Hannibal, died at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at her home in Mexico, MO.
    Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal. Pastor Gregg Koelliker will officiate. Burial will follow at the Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
    Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Grand View Funeral Home in Hannibal.
    Mrs. Schuessler was born on April 5, 1928, in Hannibal, the daughter of James and Ethel Baker Moss. She married Junior L. Schuessler on February 4, 1946, in Hannibal, and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1988.
    She is survived by her son, Chris Schuessler of Laddonia, MO; her daughter, Connie (Jim) Melton of Bluffton, SC; her brothers, Luke Moss, Jerry (Shirley) Moss and Larry Moss all of Quincy, IL; her sisters, Marilyn Wenneker of Ewing, MO, and Doris Small of the state of Tennessee; her six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and her great great granddaughter.
    She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bob Moss; and her grandson in infancy.
    Marjorie was a homemaker. She moved to Mexico, MO, in 1989 from Vandalia, MO. She loved to read books and take long walks.
    Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice, in care of Grand View Funeral Home.
