At Forest Park Festival

The Bulldog varsity cross country teams had another successful match Saturday at Forrest Park Festival. MHS varsity boys came in 8th out of 29 teams, finishing first among the schools in the Bulldogs district and third against Class 3 schools. The team also beat eight Class 4 schools. Freshman Malik Holman, once again led the Bulldogs coming in third overall out of 355 runners with a time of 16:46, improving his time from the previous week by 1:07. He was Mexico's only medalist in the boys competition. Jackson took first in the competition.
In the girls varsity match, MHS came in 17th out of 20 teams. Junior Jamie Brandow came in first for the Lady Bulldogs with a time of 21:36 earning her 37th place overall.
Villa Duchesne took first in the girls competition.
In the Junior Varsity match freshman Micah Gwinn came in first for the Bulldogs with the time of 20:46; and for the Lady Bulldogs senior Danielle Bohr was first with a time of 24:16.
Next action for both varsity and JV will be Tuesday at the QND Raider International.
