Obituary published Sept. 19, 2012 in The Mexico Ledger

Dwayne Monroe Heath, 90 of Sturgeon, Mo., passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital, Columbia.
Dwayne was born Oct. 29, 1921 in Clark, Mo., the son of Pearl Monroe and Ima Etna Lewis Heath.
He married Sheila Nutt in Brookfield, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Heath and his wife, Dedra, Mexico, Scott Heath, Gainesville, Texas; one daughter, Debbie Clem and her husband, Danny, Plano, Texas; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Wyman Heath, Columbia; two sisters, Dorothy Brooks, Kansas City and Bonita Rob-inson, Sturgeon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and infant, Junior Pearl Heath age 11 months, Kennth L. Heath, Dwight Heath and Victor F. Heath.
He was a graduate of Sturgeon High School.
Mr Heath was a lifelong over-the-road truck driver owning and operating his own equipment.
He served his country with honor during World War II in the United States Air Force.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia. Officiating will be Rev. Frank Brooks from the state of Florida. Interment with Military Honors will be at Chapel Grove Cemetery, Clark, Mo. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening, Sept. 20 at Fenton Funeral Chapel.
The family suggests memorials to the Harry S Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital Hospice Care Group.
