It's Homecoming Week at Mexico Senior High School. Using a circus theme with the slogan, "Victory Under the Big Top," the MHS Student Council and class sponsors are organizing this year's festivities.
Life-size photographs of MHS Principal Dr. Terry Robinson wearing a circus director's big top hat, and MHS teachers doing acrobatic tricks and twirling hula hoops are among the many props poised throughout the school for student, staff, administration and visitor entertainment.
According to senior adviser and MHS English Department Chair Jennifer Silver, "seniors are really on the ball this year, flooding to get forms to participate in activities."
