<>With plenty of spooky attractions to choose from...your family can find a fun Halloween "thing to do" along the shores of Lake Erie in Ohio.

Get your scare on at The Sandusky State Theater where guest paranormal investigators from popular television programs will provide lectures and ghost hunts. Legend has it that this theater is haunted by at least four spirits.

If these experiences are not "Haunting" enough for your spirit than check out the island-wide weekend murder mystery at Kelleys Island Venture Resort.

Still not "Shocking" enough? How about being a part of the walking dead for the ZomBay Walk through downtown Sandusky?

For something a little tamer for the entire family, visit Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends. This is a popular "thing to do".

Children enjoy the activities that are just for them, which include a themed parade, costume contest, Planet Spooky and a fun house where the fearless anticipate nightfall when the Screamsters roam four haunted houses and six horrifying walk-thrus. New this year are Eden Musee, a petrifying wax museum and the Cut Throat Cove, which is an outdoor pirate themed show.

A visit to the shores of Lake Erie will afford you even more frights this year. Just try to find you way out of a haunted corn maze at Terror in the Field. Visit the Ghostly Manor, that was seen on the Travel Channel's Best Places I've Ever Been".

Another new addition this year is the "Lake Eerie Fearfest". This bands the mysterious legends of Lake Erie together under one roof to create a unique, feared and haunted destination. It is 6 acres of non-stop haunted action including Darkmare, Caged, Quarantine and Eerie Chateau.

Make a weekend of it, there is plenty to do and plenty of great places to stay, eat and have a great time. Check out SHORESandISLANDS.com for all the info you need for a great Halloween time.
