Brookfield scored on a 24-yard Marcus Liebhart touchdown reception two minutes into the second quarter to take a 7-0 lead.
Macon responded in the third quarter as Tyrone Walker hauled in a 45-yard touchdown catch. The extra point was missed, so the Bulldogs held on to a 7-6 lead. Connor Owens then gave the Tigers a Clarence Cannon Conference victory when he pulled in a touchdown catch of 29 yards. The two-point conversion was no good, but the Macon defense held on for the win.
With the win, Macon improved to 6-2 on the season while Brookfield fell to 6-2.
