Doris I. Moore, 80 of Mexico, died Friday October 19, 2012 at the Golden Living Center- Pin Oaks.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Tuesday at Arnold Funeral Home with burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Doris was born June 27, 1932 in Hams Prairie, Missouri the daughter of Eugene and Della Belle (Jeffries) Davis.
On October 25, 1953 in Mexico, Doris married William R. Moore; he survives of the home.
Doris was a member of the Mexico United Methodist Church.
Doris worked for many years at the Savings Bank and Commerce Bank. Her and Bill spent 20 Years as campground hosts at Bennett Springs, being the second longest campground hosts in the state of Missouri.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Floyd Davis.
Pallbearers will be Tod Davis, Gary Moore, Matthew Moore, Toni Moore, Randy Moore, Mike Pickett, and Carl Meyers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Adams, Bill Pilcher, John Houf, and Ned Azdell.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association in care of Arnold Funeral Home 425 S. Jefferson Mexico, MO 65265.
