  • CENTRALIA: The Centralia Panters ended their regular season Friday with a 20-7 victory over Macon Tigers in Macon.
    Centralia scored in the first, second and fourth quarters, missing the extra point on the last TD. Macon scored its only TD in the third quarter.
    Centralia had 92 passing yards, 231 rushing yards for a total of 323 yards. The Panthers held the Tigers defense to 51 passing yards, and 115 rushing for a total of 167.
    Etzler threw eight successful passes on 20 attempts for 92 yards, two TDs and one interception. Cullen Ralphs ended the evening with 84 rushing yards, while Austin Kinkead had 15 and Dixon Dollens had two.
    On the Panther defense Jacob Hockman had two solo tackles and 11 assisted tackles while Jason Anders had three solo tackles and six assisted tackles.
    Centralia 8-1 overall, begins the playoffs at 7 p.m. Thursday night at home against Southern Boone.
    PARIS: Paris Coyotes traveled to Marceline Friday night for a conference football game, losing 49-14 to the Tigers.
    Zane Vaughn scored the first touchdown in the second quarter, but the Coyotes missed the extra point. In the fourth quarter Slater Stone scored a TD and also completed a successful two-point conversion. Stone also had 16 rushing yards and 32 receiving. Steven Hayhurst had 15 rushing yards and was 13 for 24 passing.
    The Panthers are 3-5 overall and 2-2 in league play.
