  • Rachel Lucille Coolley, 93 of Centralia, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
    Rachel was born Oct. 25, 1918 in rural Centralia, the daughter of Halley Ben and Monte Marie (Sims) Brown.
    On June 16, 1945 she was married in Centralia to Clair Ancil Coolley. He preceded her in death, also her parents.
    Survivors include a daughter Carlene Coolley; grandson, Levi Coolley, great-grandson, Damon Jennings, great-granddaughter, Booklyn Coolley, all of Columbia; and a brother, Roy Brown and his wife, Ingrid, Abilene, Kans.
    She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and a graduate of High School, both of Centralia.
    Mrs. Coolley was an operator for General Telephone Company in Centralia and later was a bookkeeper for Boone Distributing Company, Columbia.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia. Officiating will be Rev. David Hartgrove, Pastor, Crossroads Cathedral-Assembly of God Church, Centralia. Interment will be in Centralia Cemetery, Centralia. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the Fenton Funeral Chapel.
    The family suggests memorials to the Salvation Army, Columbia.
