Mexico man arrested for burglary

At approximately 11:17 p.m. Tuesday, an off-duty Mexico Public Safety Officer observed suspicious activity around a business in the 200 block of South Morris which had been the victim of a burglary over the previous weekend.
An MPSD investigation led to the arrest of Adam Davis, 23, of Mexico. Davis was processed at Mexico Public Safety and transported to the Audrain County Jail on charges of second-degree burglary, stealing under $500, and second-degree property damage.
Citizens are reminded that people arrested/charged with a crime are simply accused of the crime and are to be considered innocent until proven guilty.
