Gaylia Ann Burdick, 60 of Eldon, formerly of Mexico died Wednesday November 21, 2012 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday at Arnold Funeral Home with a private family burial to follow.
Gaylia was born on December 20, 1951 in Mexico, to Ralph William and Patsy R. (Piper) Luckaman.
Gaylia is survived by her mother, Patsy Luckaman of Mexico; children, Michelle (Brian)Johnston of Jonesburg, Tony (Joyce) Burdick of Blue Springs, Brad Burdick of Enid, OK; grandsons, Lucas Folta, Kyle, Matthew, and Marcus Burdick; two sisters, DeDe (Jim) Hildebrand of Mexico, Connie (Gerald) Morgan of Mexico; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Chester Leon Burdick.
Gaylia was preceded in death by her father, Ralph W. Luckaman, and a brother, William D. Luckaman.
Gaylia had many jobs in her lifetime, the most recent job in Mexico being a secretary for Curly Houser Farmer's Insurance. She had many hobbies and interests including reading, poetry, her dogs and her Facebook friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Mexico Animal Shelter in care of Arnold Funeral Home 425 S. Jefferson Mexico, MO 65265.
