Sandra Jean "Peedie" Gould, 59 of Columbia, formerly of Mexico, died at 10:55 a.m. Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Columbia Manor Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday December 8, 2012 at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Rinalda Farrar officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Sandra was born on August 18, 1953, in Mexico a daughter of Clarence "Pork Chop" Gould and Elizabeth Ann (Wilkerson) Gould. Peedie graduated with the Mexico High School Class of 1971.
She is survived by one son, Andre' James Harvey, Jr. of Columbia; one daughter, Velma Elizabeth Harvey of Columbia; three sisters, Mary Onukogu of St. Louis, Nancy Gould of Mexico, and Rachel Owens of Mexico; four nieces, DeAnn Gould and Andrea Owens of Mexico, Ndidi, and Joy Onukogu of St Louis; one nephew, Gordon Onukogu, St. Louis; three great nieces, Maia Shivers, Raegan Forrest and Philisha Sadberry all of Mexico; and three great nephews, Keith A. Caldwell and Collin Forrest, Mexico, and Terry Thomas II, of St. Louis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Peggy Gould and her great-grandparents, Robert and Mary Dibble.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the St. Paul CME Church or Columbia Parks & Recreation.
