Bernice E. Campbell, 90 of Mexico, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at GLC - Pin Oaks.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Tuesday evening from 5-7 at the funeral home.
Bernice was born on July 9, 1922 in Atlanta, MO, the daughter of Edward C. and Anna Frieta (Hortman) Koewing. On Nov. 10, 1951 she married Arthur F. Campbell in Flat River, MO. Arthur preceded her in death on April 25, 1995.
She was a member of the Mexico United Methodist Church and had worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone.
She is survived by a daughter Ruth Ann Golden of Mexico; two granddaughters, Erin Snelling and her husband Travis of Columbia and Allison Tveitnes of Columbia; a great-grandson Tucker and great-granddaughter Mika and a nephew Gerald Bryson of Columbia.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Willard Koewing and two sisters, Beatrice Mardorf and Della Bryson.
Memorials may be made to the Mexico Senior Center.
