Vicki Crum, 59, of Mexico, died at 6:48 p.m., Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmie Stewart officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery.
Vicki was born June 18, 1953, in Mexico, a daughter of Arthur Merle and Nona Martha (Harmon) York. On August 20, 1976, in Mexico, she married Andrew T. Crum, Jr. who survives.
She was a member of Union Baptist Church and had been very active with Mid Mo Clowns for Christ. She enjoyed attending tractor pulls and antique tractor shows with her husband. Prior to having her five children she worked in the children's ICU unit. Her choice of a nursing career came from her being a caregiver at heart.
In addition to her husband Junior, survivors include three sons, Andrew T. Crum III and wife Tammy, Mexico, Jerry Crum and wife Ashley, Mexico, and Garry Crum and Angelia Johnson, Mexico; two daughters, Kristina Crum Hannon and husband Andrae, St. Joseph, and Martha Baclesse and husband Chris, Mexico; three brothers, Larry York and wife Bonnie, New York, Alan York and wife Jody, Mexico, and Doug York, Mexico; one sister, Louise Bealmer and husband Jim, Mexico; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Dylan.
