Donna Darlene Garrett, 70 of Alabama, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Thursday, December 13th, 2012 in Alabama.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Atkinson officiating. Visitation is Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Darlene was a retired, loving, dedicated LPN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Garrett, Jr.; two sons, Donald R. Garrett and Jerry A. Garrett, both of Mexico, Missouri; and one brother, Don "Festus" Eskew.
Survivors include three sisters, Marsha Harp of Ashville, Alabama, Lucille Lynn of Macon, Georgia, Connie Wharton of Madison, Alabama; two daughters, Donna Garrett of Madison, Alabama and Sherri Garrett of Hunnewell, Missouri; one daughter-in-law; Fanny M. Garrett of Mexico; two sons-in-law, Luke Salinas and David W. House; eleven grandchildren, Jenney Baker, Mindy Garrett, Bryan Benton, Joe Cloven, Jennifer David, Becky Garrett, Lisa Lewis, Nichole Murphy, Hazel Benton, Richard Larue, Tamera Larue, Chelsea Larue; 27 great grandchildren; one step granddaughter, Nicole Roberts and husband Harold; a sister-in-law, Rita Davidson of Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
