  • Hubert F. Cunningham, 80, of Montgomery City, Mo., died on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at the Audrain Medical Center in Mexico, Mo.
    Hubert Franklin Cunningham was born July 5, 1932 in Montgomery City, Mo., to Bud Cunningham and Ruth Bishop Cunning-ham. He graduated from Montgomery City High School and was a Veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War. He married Beulah Virginia Baur Cunningham on Nov. 5, 1953 and she preceded him in death on Nov. 13, 2001. Mr. Cunningham later married Amelia Ann Byars Greenlee on Jan. 11, 2004 in Montgomery City, Mo. Mr. Cunningham retired after working at Castic Wilson in St. Louis, Mo., as an accountant. Mr. Cun-ningham was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Montgomery City, Mo. He enjoyed going to the Montgomery County Senior Center and playing cards every Monday through Friday until his health started to decline. Mr. Cunningham en-joyed Big Band and Marching music, always enjoyed going to the Concerts in the Park and enjoyed people and being around them. He was an avid Cardinal Baseball fan and enjoyed watching the Mizzou Tigers Football and Basketball teams. His wife said he loved anything that bounced and rolled.
    Mr. Cunningham is survived his wife, Ann Cunningham of Mont-gomery City, Mo.; daughter, Nan Kelsick and husband, Donnie, of Houston, Texas; and three grandchildren, Rhia Fehrmann and husband, Zak, of Houston, Texas, Evan Kelsick and wife, Sarah, of Chicago, Ill., and Jesse Hassinger of Twentynine Palms, Calif. Also surviving is a brother, Donnie Cunningham of Wellsville, Mo.; brother-in-law, Herb Meyer of Wellsville, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
    Mr. Cunningham was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beulah Cunningham; daughter, Kathy Tallman; sister, Sue Meyer; and brother, Eddie Joe Cunningham.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Mont-gomery City. The Reverend Samuel Ste-venson will officiate and interment with full Military Honors will be in the Montgomery City Cemetery in Mont-gomery City, Mo. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m until the time of service on Friday at the Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City, Mo.
