  • Kenneth Clayton Randolph, Sr., 99, of Hallsville, Mo., entered into rest Jan. 11, 2013 at Columbia Health Care Center, Columbia.
    He was born March 18, 1913 in Lincoln, Mo., the son of William Henry and Alberta Gunn Randolph.
    He was married May 8, 1942 in Moberly, Mo. to Maudine Hopkins.
    Survivors include two sons, Kenneth C. Randolph, Jr. and wife, Linda, Warrenton, Garry Randolph and wife, Myla, Columbia; two daughters, Deanna Kay Crocker and husband, Jim, Centralia, Benita Lynn Robb and husband, Casey, Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Megan May, Jeffery Randolph, Blake Randolph, Jamey Crocker, Patrick Crocker, Jeremy Crocker, Christopher Robb and Courtney Robb; eight great-grandchildren and former wife of 43 years, Maudine Hopkins Randolph, Centralia.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, William "Bill" Randolph; three sisters, Marion Gillum, Dulce Randolph and Maxine Tedman.
    Mr. Randolph was a member of the First Christian Church, Centralia; American Legion Post No. 113 and VFW Post No. 6276 and a retired member of the Missouri Teachers Association.
    He had received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri. Kenneth served his country with honor during World War II in the United States Navy as Chief Pharmacist's Mate in the South Pacific - Guadalcanal.
    He taught math and science in these schools, Mexico, Renick, Crystal City, Camdenton and Hughesville. His farming consisted of grain and livestock enterprises.
    Funeral services were held today at 11 a.m. at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia, with Rev. Roxie McNelly, Pastor, First Christian Church, Centralia, officiating. Interment with Military Honors was at Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia. Visitation was from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service today at Fenton Funeral Chapel.
    The family suggests memorials to VFW Post No. 6276.
    Honorary pallbearers were Christopher Robb, Megan May, Courtney Robb, Blake Randolph, Brian Schnarre, and Randell Huhmann, D.C.
    Pallbearers were Jamey Crocker, Patrick Crocker, Jeremy Crocker, Jeffery Randolph, Brian Crocker and Andrew Stanton.
