SEVENTH GRADE GIRLS: The Mexico Middle School girls advance to the chamionship game in their own tournament after a victory over Warrenton with a score of 29-11. Warrenton gave us a hard time the first time we played them, but this game showed what Mexico is made of. Kylie Morgan had a great defensive game with being very active and attempting to steal every chance she got. Elisabeth Gooch had an amazing game, both offensively and defensively," said MMS coach Stephanie Schutte.
Leading scorers for Mexico were: Adria Costley 16P, Elisabeth Gooch 9P, Kylie Morgan and MacKenzie Davis 2P each.
