Kenneth F. "Kenny" Oliver, 70, Centralia, Mo, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia, Mo. He was born March 9, 1942 the son of Vernie and Thelma (Roberts) Oliver.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Thelma Oliver of Centralia, Mo; one daughter Kelli Wisdom and her husband Harlan of Centralia, Mo; one son Ken Oliver and his wife Michelle of Columbia, Mo; three grandchildren Justin Wisdom of Rogersville, Mo, Josh Wisdom of Centralia, Mo and Brady Oliver of Columbia, Mo; one brother Robert "Bob" Oliver and his wife Carol of Centralia, Mo; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his father Vernie, one grandson Connor Mox Oliver preceded him in death.
Kenny was baptized at Maple Grove Methodist Church near Rowena, Mo. He was a 1960 graduate of Centralia High School. He first owned and operated Oliver Gulf Service Station, then he owned and operated Oliver Brothers Feed Store and later owned O.K. Small Engine Repair. He enjoyed fishing, St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and attending all of Centralia Athletic events and Central Methodist Football.
Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, Mo. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico, Mo. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, Mo.
