Paul "Pic" Edward Sullivan, 79, passed away on January 25, 2013. Born to Louise and David Sullivan on July 3, 1933 in Mexico, Missouri. He was a graduate of St. Brendan's High School in Mexico, Missouri. He served in the U S Army as military police from 1954-1956 before going on to graduate with a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Missouri in 1959.
He married his childhood sweetheart, Lynne Beam, in 1956. Paul retired as a Vice President from Labconco after 34 years of service. In his retired life, Paul was a dedicated volunteer with various organizations such as: Animal's Best Friends, Truman East Hospital, and Meals on Wheels.
Paul was the epitome of the word "gentleman." He was a humble, kind, generous and loving soul who was dedicated to his family.
He was preceded in death by his sweetheart, parents, several brothers and sisters. Survivors include his sons Greg (Karen) of Midlothian, Virginia and Michael of Tampa, Florida; his sisters Mary Jane Dickey of Mexico, Missouri and Delores Perkey of Sun City, Arizona. Lastly, he leaves behind his beloved poodle Ginger.
A memorial interment and celebration of Paul and Lynne's life will be scheduled at a later date.
