Felony involuntary manslaughter and leaving the scene

Mexico lawyer James A. Clampitt was found guilty by a jury in Chariton County, Keytesville, Mo. today. The trial had been moved to Keytesville on a change of venue from Audrain County.
The jury found Clampitt guilty of felony involuntary manslaughter in the death of Richard Cobb, who was struck while riding his lawn mower on North Jefferson St. in Mexico on June 13, 2010 and felony leaving the scene of an accident.
We have been told the jury is considering Clampitt's sentence this afternoon.
