Joan Hubble, 71, of Sturgeon entered into rest Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Heritage Hall Nursing Center, Centralia.
Joan was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Harvard, Ill., the daughter of Peter and Minnie (Bosma) VanderPal.
On July 29, 1990 she was married to Charlie Hubble and he survives. Other survivors include a son, Kenneth J. Ebert, Long Beach, Calif.; two stepsons Doug Hubble and wife, Angie, Kaysville, Utah; Kenny Hubble and wife, Robin, Columbia; a daughter-in-law Victoria Ebert, Lodi, Calif.; three grandchildren, Kevin Ebert, Erik Ebert and Ashlyn Webert, Lodi, Calif.; three step-grandchildren, Shelby Hubble and Craig Hubble, Kaysville, Utah and Landon Hubble, Columbia; two brothers, Robert VanderPal and wife, Joyce, Austin, Texas; Don VanderPal, Columbia; two sisters, Jeanette Kirchoff and husband, Manford, Lake Geneva, Wis., and Donna Jay and husband, Gene, Sturgeon.
She was precede in death by her parents and son, Steven K. Ebert.
She was a high school graduate and attended a school of cosmetology for two years. Joan was a devoted wife and mother.
She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Moberly.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fenton Funeral Chapel, Centralia. Officiating will be Tom Michalski, pastor, Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Moberly. Burial will be in Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Sturgeon.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Ebert, Doug Hubble, Kenney Hubble, Gene Jay, Jimmy Bruce and Jack McKinney. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Graybill and Geoffrey Young.
