Lester Harold Meine, 80 of Mexico, passed away Feb. 8, 2013 at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Bud Grindstaff officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in the City of Warrenton Cemetery.
Lester was born May 10, 1932 in Warrenton, the son of A.W. and Glendola (Cruthis) Meine.
Mr. Meine had been the manager of Missouri Brokerage and P.N. Hirsch. He had volunteered at the Handi-Shop and as a tax accountant. He loved gardening and his family.
Survivors include his children, Donald Meine of Mexico, Carol Polumbo and husband, August of Spanish Fort, Ala., Patti Korsmeyer and husband, Mark of Parkville and David Meine of Blue Springs; 10 grandchildren, Matthew and wife, Emily, Jake, Nicholas and Angela Polumbo, Sarah, Megan and Ryan Korsmeyer, and Christopher, Jonathan and Zachary Meine; two great-grandchildren, Clayton Korsmeyer and Dante Polumbo; and his brothers and sisters, Robert Meine and wife, Betty of St. Louis, Joyce Nash and husband, Victor of Starkville, Mississippi, Larry Meine and wife, Marilyn of Boonville and Jerilyn Grindstaff and husband, Bud of St. Charles.
