Joseph Aulbur died unexpectedly at his home in Springfield, MO, Wednesday morning, February 6, 2013. Services were held February 9, 2013, at Kingdom Hall, Springfield, MO.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on this Saturday, February 16, 2013, at St. Joseph's Church in Martinsburg, at 10 am with burial of the cremains following at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the luncheon following the services at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Martinsburg.
Joe was born September 2, 1950, in Mexico, MO, a son of Richard and Eva Aulbur, and he grew up on the family farm near Martinsburg, MO. He graduated from Community R-VI High School and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a carpenter and he married his wife Mary Ann on July 26, 1996, in Phoenix, AZ and she survives along with her children and grandchildren.
He is also survived by his mother Eva Aulbur, sister-in-law Donna Aulbur, brothers Martin (Paula) Aulbur, Carl (Nancy) Aulbur, and sisters Angela (Kent) Buckman, all of Martinsburg, MO; Celeste Graham, Salmon, ID; Maria (Gary) DeLematre, Ashland, MO; Annette (Dwayne) Mackey, Mt. Vernon, MO; Juanita (Gary) Willingham, Catherine (Dr. Michael) Quinlan, both of Mexico, MO; Alice Aulbur, Juliann (Terry) Blaue both of Wellsville, MO; 15 nephews, 17 nieces and many great-nephews and great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father Richard, brother David, sister-in-law Susan all of Martinsburg; brother-in-law Ralph Graham, Salmon, ID; nephews George Graham (infant), Jacob Graham, Salmon, ID, and Damon Owen, Mexico, MO.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Cemetery fund, Martinsburg, or to the donor's choice.
