Wanda Lou Davis, 69 of Mexico, died on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday evening from 5-7.
Wanda was born on June 15, 1943 in Mexico, the daughter of Don Paris and Ola (Love) Jeffries. On Sept. 23, 1960 she married Bobby Gene Davis, Sr. in Mexico. He preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 2012.
She is survived by three children, Rhonda Davis, Don Davis and Jamie, and Bob Davis, Jr. all of Mexico; grandchildren, Amber Myers & Matt, Megan Hoard & Scott, Brenda Fisher & Ryan, Don Davis, Jr., and Cameron Davis all of Mexico; five great-grandchildren, Kellan, Kylee, Zach, Allyssa, and Blake. She is also survived by six brothers, Carl Jeffries of Mexico, Harold Jeffries of Eldon, John & Lloyd Jeffries of Fulton, and Clifford & Howard Jeffries of Mexico; and three sisters, Lois McDermit, Charlett Wilson and Martha Brown all of Mexico.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Brenda Mosley, grandson Kyle Davis, a brother Don Jeffries, and four sisters, Sue Rose, Mae Kelsay, Pauline Jenkins and Norma Nichols.
