Roslyn "Punky" Mehr, 90 of Mexico, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at her home.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
Roslyn was born May 12, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Mandel and Sadie Hannah (Cohn) Block. On May 27, 1940 in Chicago, she married Jerome "Jerry" Mehr. He died on Feb. 22, 2006.
Mrs. Mehr was an electrologist and had attended Centennial Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Harriet Weiss and husband, Marty of Mexico and Claudia Joan Adams and husband, Jerry of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, Marcie Davis of Jefferson City, Vickie Davis-Barker and husband, Billy of Mexico, Anthony Joseph Ippolito and wife, Tora of Kuwait City, Kuwait and Steven Michael Ippolito of Las Vegas; nine great-grandchildren, Hailey and Matthew Olmos, Joseph, Nicholas, Rosalina and Geno Ippolito, Bridget Demerest and husband, Steve, and Andy and David Barker; and several great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Roslyn was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Charles, Chickie and Herbert; and two sisters, Myrtle and Fanchion.
