Pearlie Mae "Weegee" Smith, 88 of Mexico, died Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Audrain Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico.
Pearlie was born on May 3, 1924 in Higbee, Missouri, the daughter of William Henry and Gracie Lee (Crutchfield) Neal.
On September 26, 1942, Pearlie married James Howard Smith; he preceded her in death on September 12, 1998.
Pearlie is survived by her children, Judy Keller of Pleasant Valley, MO, Danny Smith of New Bloomfield, and Michael Smith of Mexico; grandchildren, Angela Paris of Pleasant Valley, Eric Smith of Mexico, Kerri Smith of Columbia, Alyse Smith of Holts Summit, Darren Smith of Mexico and Devyn Smith of Mexico; several great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; a brother, Willard "Bud" Neal of Moberly; and sister, Sue Sumpter of Sturgeon.
Along with her husband, Howard, Pearlie was preceded in death by a grandson, Doug Maddox; and seven brothers and sisters.
Pearlie will be greatly missed. She was loved by all and was the focal point of her family.
