Dolly G. Jobe, 87 of Centralia passed away Friday, April 12, 2013.
Services will be held at 2 pm, Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Parker Funeral Service. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Red Top Cemetery in Hallsville.
Dolly was born March 1, 1926 in St. Elizabeth, MO to William and Mattie Dixon Stark. She married James Ralph Jobe on July 21, 1947 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 1986.
Dolly moved to Boone County in 1958. She loved to quilt, garden, collect, cook and serve wild eatable greens, fish and camp. She enjoyed family gatherings.
Survivors include: a son, Ralph C. Jobe and wife Erica of Centralia; a daughter, Mary Lou Maupin and husband Charlie of Mexico, MO; two brothers, Paul Stark of Garden, KS and Elijah Stark of Bonner Springs, KS; two sisters, Arzena Nixdorf of Ulman, MO and Birdie Krupco of Kansas City, KS; seven grandchildren, Shelia, Angel, Mary, Chas, Cindy, Janette and Amanda; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four brothers and three sisters.
