Marguerite "Peggy" M. Hunt, 82 of Mexico, died at 5:52 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, at her daughter's home in Thompson.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Pickering Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Peggy was born August 23, 1930, in Mansfield, Mass., the daughter of John and Marguerite (Myna) Lynch. On September 28, 1963, in Sebring, Florida, she married Henry Hunt. Mr. Hunt preceded her in death on March 9, 2009.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and GRANGE, where she served as a Florida state officer for several years. Most of her life she worked as a veterinary assistant.
Survivors include daughter, Nancy Fible and husband, Gary of Thompson; two grandchildren, Michael K. Fible of Mexico, and Megan S. Fible of Olathe, Kansas; two brothers, David Lynch of Massachusetts, Paul Lynch of Virginia; and two sisters, Winnie McCoy and husband Thomas of California, and Patty Maestas and husband Ray of Arizona.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
