GIRLS SOCCER: The Mexico High School Lady Bulldogs soccer team lost to Hannibal Lady Pirates 3-0 Thursday night at home. The final was 3-0. Hannibal scored 2 in the first half of the match and 1 in the second half.
"This was another night that had some bright spots, but we need to still start to put 80 minutes out there, where all 11 players are competing for everything," remarked MHS Coach Brad Ellebracht.
The Lady Bulldogs who are 5-7 overall return to action tonight and Saturday in the Camdenton Invitational.
The junior varsity team also lost with a final score of 10-0.

BOYS GOLF: It was a bittersweet finish yesterday for Mexico Bulldogs boys golf team. "The sweetness came from defeating Fulton on both sides, but bitter because it signed the end of the regular season for the junior varsity plays and was the last home match for the three seniors," remarked MHS Coach John Knipfel. The seniors are Jared Melton, Jordan McNeil and Brock Lunceford.
The varsity Bulldogs won the match 167-182 and are noe 34-22 on the season. The JV team won 189-238 and finished the season 18-2.
However, the weather was perfect and the scores weren't too far from it. The junior varsity players set their season low with a 182 and varsity players were only a few off from breaking its season low.
