Mexico Lady Bulldogs soccer team ended its home season Monday night on a good note, defeating the Fulton Lady Hornets 3-0.
"It was a good game. We played well ... so it was a good way to send off the seniors," stated MHS Coach Brad Ellebracht.
Scoring for Mexico were Lauren Ralls, Nutcha Pongsuea and Caroline Finck. Keagan Riddick and Erika Smiley picked up assists.
Mexico is back in action tonight against Canton for the final regular season game.
The junior varsity teams tied 0-0.
The Lady Bulldogs begin District competition Saturday at Moberly. They are seeded fourth and play their first match at 6 p.m. against Marshall the number five seed. Hannibal is seeded first, Moberly second and Kirksville third.
