Ethel Lucile Hudson, age 93 of Mexico, died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Pin Oaks Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation is Tuesday from 12 noon until service time.
Mrs. Hudson was born on April 11, 1920 to James and Gertrude Garrett east of Laddonia, MO. She married Ralph Hudson on Feb. 3, 1940 in Fulton, MO.
She worked at Coldwell Nursing Home and retired from Pin Oaks Nursing Home at the age 72. She enjoyed going to antique auctions, making quilts and traveling.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, Jack Hudson and wife Lura, Tom Hudson and wife Cheryl, Russell Hudson and wife Teresa and Gary Hudson, all of Mexico. Two daughters, Patricia Early of Mexico and Barbara Stieferman and husband Wendell of Jefferson City; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Ruth Lincoln and her husband Wesley, a daughter-in-law Danna Hudson, a son-in-law Paul Early, Jr. and ten brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made to Lockewood Park Baptist Church.
