Atha Mae Francis Eastin, 88 of Centralia, formerly of Mexico, passed away at 5:20 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Centralia.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
Atha was born Sept. 9, 1924 north of Salisbury, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Sylvia (Minks) Stoner.
She worked for Walmart over 30 years and was a member of the Women of the Moose. Atha was baptized at Prairie Hill Baptist Church north of Salisbury. She loved music, singing and crocheting.
Survivors include two sons, Lowell Eastin and wife, Brenda of Centralia and Donald Eastin and wife, Evelyn of Marceline; four grandchildren, Clint Eastin and wife, Laura of Centralia, Erin Eastin of Centralia, Tami Gann of Brookfield and Troy Eastin and wife, Deidra of Brookfield; numerous great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Rosa Eastin of Auxvasse.
Atha was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Cheryl Eastin; and one brother, Charles Stoner.
