Next court date is 9 a.m. July 8

The felony stealing case against former Handi-Shop, Inc. employee Joanna Borgmeyer has been bound over to circuit court. Borgmeyer and another Handi-Shop employee were terminated in April from the facility and charged with felony stealing.
Borgmeyer appeared in Audrain County Associate Division Court Tuesday with her attorney Jeffrey Lee Hilbrenner of Columbia, with Judge Linda Hamlett presiding. Borgmeyer waived her preliminary hearing and her next court date is set at 9 a.m. on July 8.
Borgmeyer is charged with alleged felony theft/stealing charges for $500 or more, but less than $25,000.
Rodney L. Shivers, the former manager of the Handi-Shop, Inc., is charged with the same offense. His arraignment is set for the same date and time, before Judge Hamlett in Audrain Associate Division Court.
