Barbara Ann Sapp, 76 of Mexico died Friday June 28, 2013 at the Audrain Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Arnold Funeral Home with Minister David Sapp officiating, burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Barbara was born on August 3, 1936 in Callaway County the daughter of John T. and Hazel Elizabeth (Dailey) Brandenburg.
Barbara graduated from Fulton High School in 1954.
On March 31, 1955 Barbara married Ray J. Sapp in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1993.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Trena Riechers and husband Kenny of Mexico; grandchildren, Dean Riechers and wife Rita of Fenton, Tabatha Dickherber and husband Dean of Tuscon, AZ, and Kendra Moyle and husband Brandon of Mexico; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Cassidy, and Ashley Dickherber, Hannah, Andrew, and Abigail Riechers, and one on the way-Baby Moyle; sisters, Ginny Foster and husband Earl of Auxvasse, Margie Davis and husband Larry of Mexico; brothers, Don Brandenburg and wife Mary Ann of Arizona, Kenneth Brandenburg of Arizona, James Brandenburg and wife Rose of Arizona, John Brandenburg and wife Alva of Texas; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband Ray, Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Millie Lee.
Barbara worked for Commerce Bank and Jay's IGA. She was an avid bowler, loved to go to flea markets, and do crafts. She especially loved spending time with her family.
