Justin Eli Foster, 30, of Auxvasse passed away at his home on Friday, July 5, 2013. He was born March 18, 1983 in Mexico, the son of Jay Foster and Patty (Cathcart) Foster.
In addition to his parents, Justin will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one brother, Travis Foster of Columbia; one sister, Christine Foster of Kansas City; two grandmothers, Hazel Stubblefield of Fulton and Marie Foster of Auxvasse; a special friend, Brittany Wilson; aunts and uncles, Jerry Cathcart of Wichita, KS, Lana Foster of Avondale Estates, GA, Ashley and Michael Donnelly of Oklahoma City, OK, Cheryl and Doug Dillard, Steve and Diann Foster, Lynn and Russ Wilson, and Stanley and Barb Foster, all of Auxvasse; and numerous cousins and friends. Justin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bill Cathcart, Wilbur "Bo" Foster, Leroy Stubblefield, and great grandfather Wilbur "Web" Foster.
Justin was a member of the Auxvasse Christian Church and was employed by Foster Brothers Wood Products and Missouri Fibre Corporation. He attended the University Of Arkansas School Of Forestry – Monticello and was a Missouri Certified Logger. Justin loved playing Thunderbird football at North Callaway High School and being outdoors in the woods with his job. One of his favorite things to do was to hang out with friends and his dog, Bone, at his family's farm on the Auxvasse Creek.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Alan Bailey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 also at Maupin Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Auxvasse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Forest Products Certified Loggers Training Program c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, MO 65251.
