George Washington "Butch" Parrott Jr., 66, of Eldon, Mo. died July 7, 2013.
He was born May 3, 1947, the son of George W. and Mary Jane Parrott.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda Smoot and Kim Williams of Barnett, Heather and Ed Mason of Brumley, June Brown of Hale, Mo., Chasity Parrott of Mexico.
He has six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, nine sisters, Elizabeth Ann of Vandalia, Mo., Mary Helen of Mexico, Donna Thessler of Moberly, Mo., Charlessa Kay Peevy of Fulton, Mo., Brenda Parrish of Auxvasse, Jacqueline Hannon of Holt Summit, Mo., Patricia Berry of Centralia, Pamela Jean Parrot of Oklahoma, Cynthia Dawn Parrot of Mexico; one brother, Eric Leon Parrott; and one sister preceded him in death.
Butch loved fishing, bowling and golfing. He served in the Korean War. He did construction work and had retired from R.R.Donnelly Publishing.
He donated his body to science. Services will be at a later date.
