Richard Alan Neumann, 50, of Mexico passed away Saturday July 27, 2013 at Landmark Hospital in Columbia.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 1st from 5-7 p.m. with a celebration of life service at 7:00 PM. The Reverend Terry Kukuk will be officiating.
Burial will be Friday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Richard was born September 26, 1962 in Louisiana, MO. He is the son of Hans and Barbara (Love) Neumann. Richard graduated from Mexico Senior High School and attended UCM-Warrensburg and MACC where he received an Associate's Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business. Richard loved to farm and garden. He was a frequent vendor at the area farmer's market. He was a huge fan of truck and tractor pulls and was a track official for several years. Richard wrestled in high school and enjoyed watching his son Zack wrestle in local youth organizations.
Survivors include his parents, Hans and Barbara Neumann, a son, Zackary Thomas Neumann, a `daughter, Virginia Ann Neumann, a sister, Christine Neumann Alexander, a niece, Bailee Alexander, and a nephew, Austin "Tex" Alexander, all from Mexico.
Memorial donations may be made to the Zackary Thomas Neumann college fund or Purler Wrestling, Inc. in care of Arnold Funeral Home 425 S. Jefferson Mexico, MO 65265.
