  • Margaret Ann Davis, 69, of Wellsville, passed away at 9:11 P.M., Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.
    A Celebration of Life Service will be at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, August 22nd at the First Christian Church in Wellsville.  Rev. Mike Carmi will officiate.
    Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service, Thursday, at the church.
    Services are under the direction of the Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
    Mrs. Davis was born July 2, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Clark Dunn and Dorothy Alice Cooper O’Donnell.
    She attended Wellsville-Middletown R-1 High School with the class of 1962.
    On November 5, 1961, in Gasconade, Missouri, she married Russell Franklyn Davis.  He preceded her in death on November 6, 2010.
    Margaret had lived at her present address for the past 39 years but in Wellsville for over 50 years.
    She previously worked at the Garment Factory as well as Arens Dodge as their secretary.  Margaret also had been a Tupperware and Mary Kay dealer.  For a period of time, she sold Modern Woodman Insurance.
    Margaret was a member of the First Christian Church in Wellsville, where she served as an Elder.  She had also been the church historian and was in the Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF).  Margaret enjoyed singing in the church choir.
    She was a former member of Jaycettes, Booster Club and the Modern Woodman.
    Margaret enjoyed sewing, knitting, camping, watching baseball and basketball and interacting on facebook.  She enjoyed raising kids and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spent as much time with them as she could.  Margaret would hardly ever go without her favorite companion, her dog “Zoey” by her side.
    Margaret is survived by her children and their spouses, Mark Kyle and Doris Davis, of Montgomery City, Shane Scott and Holly Davis, of Wellsville, Eric Andrew Davis, of Washington, Christopher Kelly and Amy Davis, of Montgomery City and Lesley Renee and Orlando Herrera, of Manor, Texas; eighteen grandchildren, James Paul and Michelle Davis, of Wellsville, Kylie Lynn and Brandon Marshall, of Montgomery City, Tracy Elaine Davis and Craig Sohn, of South County, Brian Russell Davis, of Montgomery City, Ijaya Lee Cagle-Davis, Haskil Morgan Cagle-Davis, Leland William Cagle-Davis, Olyn Franklyn Davis, Elijah Scott Davis, Izabella Annettee Davis and Jazmine Olivia Davis, all of Wellsville, Makenzie Paige Davis, of Havre, Montana, Preston Avery Davis and Kennedy Bryn Davis, both of Washington, Sophia Helen Margaret Davis and Malachi Lawrence Davis, both of Montgomery City and Bailey Mikal Davis Orta and Cooper Alek Orta IV, both of Manor, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, Brooke Elizabeth Davis, Austin Kyle Davis and Logan Mitchell Davis, all of Wellsville, Keaton Tyler Marshall, Weston Michael Marshall and Braxton Grady Marshall, all of Montgomery City and Stella Christine Sohn, of South County; sisters, Yvonne Carol “Vonnie” Jackson and husband, Charles, of Mexico and Sandra Lee “Sandy” Rabenau, of Hermann; in addition to nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
