Mark Griffiths, talking about the beating death of Delbert Belton, 88, a World War II veteran. Police said two teens attacked the man outside a pool hall, and on Friday, one of the teens was charged with first-degree murder.

    Army Maj. Nidal Hasan was convicted today on 13 counts of premeditated murder in the 2009 Fort Hood, Texas, shooting rampage. He was found guilty in a military court and could be sentenced to death.
