Herman Leon Davidson, 74 of Mexico, passed away at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at Heritage Hall in Centralia.
Memorial services will be held at 12 noon Tuesday at Arnold Funeral Home with Minister Jim Seabolt officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Brendan Cemetery.
Herman was born June 22, 1939 in Columbia. He was the son of J.W. and Violet (Rickey) Davidson. On Nov. 24, 1962 in Kansas City, he married Helen Heilman.
Mr. Davidson was self-employed working construction, moving families and other handyman jobs. He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; his children, Mary (Brad) Barnes of Mexico, George (Debbie) Davidson of Mexico, Bill (Carol) Davidson of DePere, WI, Debbie (Chris) Steele of Mexico and James Davidson of Mexico; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman (Mildred) Davidson of Centralia; special family friend, Jim (Kim) Seabolt of Glasgow, KY; and many nieces and nephews.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Davidson; and an infant sister.
