Law enforcement officers demonstrate how to fold flag

The Veterans Council at the Missouri Veterans' Home held a ceremony Wednesday where law enforcement officers presented the home an American Flag which flew over Washington, D.C. on the Fourth of July. They showed the staff how to fold the flag and how to use it when a veteran dies. When a veteran dies at the home, a flag is used for a Heroes Homecoming. The deceased are taken out the front door, the same door they came through when entering the home as a resident. Above, law enforcement officers who are also veterans participating in the ceremony are (from left) Sgt. Garrett Rightsell, Audrain County Sheriff's Department; Mexico Public Safety officers Josh Davis, Jared Gann, Rich Ingram, Sgt. Darren Price, officers Kevin Patrick and Robert Grindstaff.
