North Callaway dropped to 1-4 (0-2 EMO) Friday, losing 34-14 against conference rival Montgomery County.
Montgomery County quarterback Evan Milner threw two touchdown passes and ran one to help the Wildcats improve to 5-0 (2-0 EMO). Milner went 13-16, passing for 288 yards with just one interception.
North Callaway quarterback Cole Branson connected on 27 pass attempts, including one touchdown completion to Justin Menard, for a total of 237 yards on the night. Menard received seven passes for a total of 47 yards. Miguel Hudson was North Callaway's leading receiver, completing 11 receptions for 104 yards.
The Thunderbirds celebrate homecoming this week with a parade Wednesday night in Auxvasse before squaring off against the Wright City Wildcats Friday.
The Paris Coyotes fell to 3-2 (0-1 LCC), losing 48-6 against Huntsville's Westran High School.
Forrest Laine scored the Coyotes' lone touchdown in the third quarter.
